Highlighters good & bad for memory

He told me to change my way of studying reading subjects, instead of using higlighter I better use pencil. I dunno how it works because in the first place I thought highlighter is the best weapon for reading subject but turned out to be the other way around . Read the articles.

Highlighter good for exams as it is good for short-memory but not for long memory.

That's why you will forget everything after your exam.
